MOUNT VERNON, WASHINGTON — A new grassroots group geared towards women 18-90+ years of age invites all ladies to join this new Social group, Skagit Ladies Social Circles (formerly named as the Skagit Ladies Social Club) with a mission to have “FUN” through small groups of women with the same interest, such as crafting DIY events, coffee and chat groups, with future events including gardening and farming educational meet-ups, game night, Foodie events and Happy Hours, and many more.

The group is also set to schedule “group” outings such as concerts, musical events, backyard BBQ events and more.

The group is only about one month old when a next door neighbor posed the question on the Social Media platform, ‘Are there any groups I can join to meet other ladies and participate in social events?”

This original post created a world wind of interest from many ladies around the County and has since evolved to over 200 women.

The first meeting took place in January with several group monthly meetings and the next one is due to occur in February.
